Lol, ignore, I had stop/pause fading enabled. I still want to show the
action immediately on the WPS though, so I'll look into it.
One more for you Brandon though, if you toggle pause and playback quickly
(with fading disabled) it also hard-locks here sooner or later.

One more playback thing, what is the reason for the long lag between
activating pause or stop and it actually kicking in? Can this be made
instant?
If no, I'd like to show the activation immediately in my WPS, so I was
looking to have another playback status var with 'pending' actions so they
can be reflected visually immediately at least.
