h140 reformatting issues

Hi,
I currently have an iriver h140. Currently I reformatted my laptop and 
needed a backup drive, so I formatted my h140 as an ntfs drive. Now that I'm 
done with the reformat, I need an mp3 player again, but I can't seem to 
format the drive as fat32. I've been using windows 2000 since windows xp has 
a weird limitation. If anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate it.
