There is a patch for this here: http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/6096 It's out of date with current CVS, but it did work at one stage. Recording with the mic in wav format worked fine, but there were still bugs as described on the linked page. I'm told that line-in recording wasn't working but don't have a cradle with line-in to investigate further.
