I bought a nano from ebay that would not switch off when in the Apple firmware.
I did a full restore and update process and still the same, a long press of
play/pause simply does not work, but all other functions seem fine.
I installed
Rockbox and, lo and behold, it shuts down perfectly with the very same key
press.
What I'm curious about is why the OF is not working if RB can successfully
recognise a long press of the same key?
I know this is probably not strictly
on-topic, but I'm interested. If I could get the OF to work properly as well,
I could make a tidy mark-up on re-selling a dual-boot nano!
