It should be an especially easy if the hardware has some means of beeping
(using the iPod piezo, I think some others) and how to use it can be figured
out. X5, H100, H300, c200, e200 would need some small software support to
send PCM out while recording.
There are still targets that are unable to play sound while recording,
i.e the older Archos models. I guess Jens was talking about those.
