I think we all want plugins to be able to speak and get translated.
But most of us devs are reluctant to add hacks to the core just because nobody
has yet made the plugins able to do this. The right thing to do here is to
work on the language/speak system for plugins, not to try to invent more
hackish approaches around the problem.
