Hi. Thanks for the info, so if i do that, how do i then tell cygwin next
time where those files are and that it should use those instead of
generating new ones?
also will cygwin detect when clips need to be updated or new ones created
and update what it has stored accordingly?

If you're using the build system (as opposed to RB Util), just do
"POOL=/path/to/cache make voice", and you'll get exactly the effect you're
asking for.
