Hey all! I'm Bryan Jacobs. I'll be implementing support for the Wavpack hybrid format's correction file, to give you one codec that can be lossless or lossy without transcoding!
I already made a post asking people what they thought would be the best method to keep two files in the buffer at the same time. I think for now I'll put it off and finish the rest of the work by using an interleaved format (one block of Wavpack and then one block of correction file). When that's done, a decision will have to be made as to whether to: a) Use MoB to load a second file into the buffer b) Implement optional per-codec buffer handling c) Implement an optional "second buffer" which may hold a different file I look forward to working (on having fun) with all of you!
