Hello people,
I'm happy (read : REALLY happy) to announce that cook/rm now plays
on target with all its 3 versions : Mono, Stereo and Joint Stereo.
Well, there's really a fourth version - multichannel cook - but
that's unlikely to get supported by rockbox. :)
Right after getting mono working, I was facing some troubles with
the other two; whenever any of them was opened a 'data abort'
occured on calling pcmbuf_insert().
Turns out it's a data alignment issue that was fixed by adding an
aligned(32) attribute to the output buffer.
So bottom line, cook/rm now works but still no seeking support.
This upcoming week I'll have to :
- Clean up the current code, to be committed.
- Start working on implementing seeking.
I think the seeking thing will keep me busy for a while.
Cheers,
