The commit does not affect battery life, it just prepares the framework to change the audio clock source. See http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/10906 for a patch that actually enables PLL B as a clock source for the audio. The datasheet mentions a power consumption of 2.5 mW typical for the PLL (I'm assuming this is per PLL) Kind regards, Bertrik
