Before freezing

The freeze is ending very soon, and I'd like to commit 2 fixes for 
graphical issues (one which fixes leaving parts of the main menu 
backdrop in the wps, and the other which makes plugins show the main 
menu backdrop[otherwise all plugin menus look like shit if a sbs is 
active]). Me and JdGordon had a quick discussion about it already 
starting here I think: http://www.rockbox.org/irc/log-20100119#23:14:55. 
I'll try to do it tomorrow, unless someone raises his voice against that 
plan.

Everybody else should take the opportunity too if he wishes to fix 
something before the branching, which is IIRC tomorrow evening.
