I think you should always save files with Unix line endings, regardless
if eol-style is used or not.

At least for people like me who use git-svn, it makes things much
simpler.

If it has \r line endings, we can still edit the file but in some
editors it will look weird.

Btw I think I try to convert such files from \r\n to \n when I see them
