I'm still playing with the latest patch in http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/7287?string=metadata which does sorting. It seems to work, for instance if I do
database -> Artist the results show sorted by Artist Sort Order (as I expect). If I go database -> genre -> <untagged> the list of artists is not using Artist Sort Order. I guess it's somehow generated on the fly, but I'm having trouble understanding where. The database menu seems to be parsed in tagtree.c, but I can't see how sorting gets included in either of the cases above. Can anyone give me a clue please? regards Alan P.S.
