I confirm the patch works :) I can create quite easily the patch for mailine based on http://duke.edu/~mgg6/rockbox/tremor_ffmpeg_imdctv8.patch but that won' be the case if I wanted to include changes from rockbox/trunk. This would be at least so much work for me as for you ;)
