So You basically propose to mark 3.13 as the last stable for archos,
and start cleaning after 3.14? Well, there were some important
bugfixes in theme engine after 3.13 (I don't know how relevant from
the achos POV though).

Well, I remember two important bug fixes, and both don't affect hwcodec
(radioart and fore/background color related, both not a thing on
charcell/monochrome). Are there more?
Anyway we can sure backport these, but attempting 3.14 for hwcodec will
most likely result in a less featured build on those because stuff needs
to be disabled to keep them building these days.
