Hi, I was thinking of getting some Stage Radius Rockets (see: http://lowendmac.com/myturn/2k1110.html) for my IIfx because they're just so damn cool, but in order to justify laying out cold, hard for them, I have to think up some use for them....
This brings me to Unix... Having several Quadra 950's running various Unix OSes within my IIfx is the kind of geek dream which makes it _very_ easy for me to reach for the long-siffereing wallet. However, I'm 99.98% sure that trying to do this won't work - specifically I expect one of these three to happen: 1: Unix on the Rockets won't be able to use the host machines ports and accesories 2: Unix on the Rockets will be unable to interface with a ethernet card installed in the host Mac. 3: RocketShare will be unable to interface with the Rocket after it boot Unix causing things to Go Badly. If anyone has _any_ idea whether such a thing is possible, however, I would love to hear about it because I'm having a very hard time letting this idea go.
