I have a Rocket currently in a Duo Dock with a Duo 230. My goal in doing this was to provide an alternative OS in a window; but through experimentation, I have not been able to get NetBSD, Linux Mac68k or AU/X to work. Blech.
My idea now is to pick up MachTen for 68K Macs--it's still for sale by Tenon--to give me this capability. I have to find out if it will run under the Rocket's 7.1 OS. Any thoughts? I'd like to start a discussion about possible uses for Rockets -- background print servers, file sharing, or other ideas -- and see if we can revive this list a bit. -- Rocketeer is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
