This is going to probably seem like a dumb question but here goes. While I can access my own internal Apple network shares from my Rocket, I cannot seem to get TCP to work. RocketTCP is in the system folder on the Rocket's startup; so is MacTCP, and I have tried to configure it both with the same and a different IP address from the host machine, to no avail. I can see my servers and printers through the Chooser, but cannot make any TCP connections (it seems). The network card on the Mac is an Ethernet card, and is its only connection to the network, so both host and Rocket are using it; the Network control panel only sees "LocalTalk". I was able to use the slot configuration to assign the Ethernet card to the Rocket, and this disabled network access for the host Mac, while not giving me any network access on the Rocket (though the Network control panel now 'saw' LocalTalk and Ethernet as options under the Rocket's OS).
I want the Rocket to be able to access the Internet. Is this even possible? -- Rocketeer is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
