Have you tried using [EMAIL PROTECTED] and password?

We don't have a connection time issue, but we do have to use our full W2k login name. My guess, and it is a big one, is that IIS isn't handling authentication well when handed simple name/password info, thus the time delay.

And why it works with 98 and not XP I don't have a clue, unless you are using different IE vers. on both systems and IE 6 handles pwds differently than its predecessor.

I have noticed that IE 6 will not save NT pwds for whatever reason, but
I haven't had a slow connection time once the login info is sent to the
Ropopi server.

Hello all,

I have a question concerning logging into our Rodopi Server (5.3 SP2.10)
Running on Windows 2000 Server w/all security updates.

When I log in from a Win98 machine the Username/Password is saved (as I
want) and it is "CLICK" and your in. Now I have two WinXP machines which
BOTH DON'T save Username/Password and take up to a minute to log in.

Has anyone else noticed this and/or come up with a solution to these two
issues?

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Dan Walker
