We're running VOP Radius and RODOPI (V5.3 SP1), and I'm getting set up with GlobalPOPs for dialup.
Can anyone confirm for me the configuration in VOP Radius for the GlobalPOPs Pass-Thru RADIUS?
Here's what I've got (with question marks next to those items I'm not sure about):
RADIUS CLIENT DEFINITION Name: rad0X.globalpops.com ? Client Type: Other IP Address: [as directed by GlobalPOPs] User Limit: 0 Secret: [as configured with GlobalPOPs] ? Security Check: NOT CHECKED ? Ignore Framed-Address in Access Requests: NOT CHECKED ? Ascend-Data-Filter Padding: 4 ? Interval Time Between Interim Packets: 0
Also, anything special I need to know for configuring RODOPI? I think I've gotta go into the Radius Attributes Editor and tweak the PPPDefault. Here's what I've got now...any recommendations on changes?
Service-Type: Framed-User Ascend-Idle-Limit: 1200 Idle-Limit: 1200 Framed-Protocol: PPP Framed-Address: 255.255.255.254 Port-Limit: 1
Based on the GlobalPOPs FAQ, it looks like there are a handful of attributes I should add if I'm going to have my clients send email through my server. Is that how y'all are handling it, or do you use GlobalPOPs relay server?
