First of all we need some basic questions answered. Does your bank do ACH? We use a jerry rigged version of ACH where we put the customer on ACH and then print out a list of the customers using the search and then we print the checks manually using Versacheck and the pre-printed checks. If you do it this way you need to know if your bank will accept checks printed with standard inks, or if, like us, they require the MCR ink. We bought a cheap HP laser printer (about $200) and we buy cartridges for it that are filled with MCR ink. Once we print out the checks we enter them into Rodopi manually using the "check payment" option. Anyone we do this for we have sign a form stating that they want this done and we get a voided check from them.
If you want more info just ask. If so how, and how did you get it all setup. We are sort of lost on how to get this accomplished, and the best route to do so? We do credit cards through RPC, but now need to get in place a way to take checks, and such and auto credit it to accounts like the credit cards Any input here will more than be appreciated!
