-- start here -- mchopra - Tuesday 15th October 2002 Just to clear up a few things that have unfortunately been confusing a rather large number of people... I wouldn't recommend playing much with nv-bsd, it's pretty out of date - by now the same goes for most of freebsd-nvidia (Matthew's driver that most of you are evidently trying out). Unless you are trying to check out implementation differences or have some other sick goal in mind, they're not going to let you dish out any OpenGL (or much else, really). So for now, I can't really say anything but (once again) "wait a bit more".
