Am compilat cups pe FreeBSD 5.0, lansat curat, din /usr/ports/print/cups . S-a compilat OK, fara mesaje de eroare, cu toate componentele (inclusiv cups-pstoraster). Atunci cand incerc sa setez print system-ul (sub KDE) din Control Center--> Printing Manager-->Print system currently used: CUPS , obtin urmatorul mesaj de eroare:
"An error occurred while retrieving the printer list. Error message received from manager. Connection to CUPS server failed. Check that the CUPS server is correctly installed and running. " Exista un alt pachet pe care trebuie sa il instalez? What's to be done? Multumesc mult.
