Nu prea este la obiect dar poti face cum ash vrea eu.
O mica introducere. Am un router linux instalat. Bun. Ce este pe hda2 (/)
este arhivat intr-un fisier root.tgz ce este pe cealalta partitie (hda3 -
/var) est arhivat intr-un fisier var.tgz. Fisierele astea 2 le-am pus pe un
cd bootabil de linux. Cand vreau sa mai fac un router din asta mic boot-ez
cu cd-ul, montez hardul nou, dezarhivez pe el cele 2 fisiere (pastrand
aceeasi schema de partitionare sau chiar cu modificari), fac un chroot in
nou system si apoi rulez lilo ... et voila ... gata instalarea.
Acum revenim. Cum ash putea face asta pe bsd ? copiere pe hdd, chroot si
apoi ??? recunosc ... nu prea am priceput tainele loaderul in aceasta
privinta.
Astfel ai putea copia de pe HDD de 40 pe cel de 80 si fara nici o
pierdere. Am facut as ape linux cu SATA (controller 3ware) si pe SCSI (un
intel srcu31).
