Simply follow these steps: $ tar xvjf rohc-1.2.0.tar.bz2 $ cd rohc-1.2.0 $ patch -p0 < /path/to/correct/dir/rohc-1.2.x-handle-odd-addresses.diff You now got the patched sources.
