Hello everybody, My main computer is running a Gentoo system. Gentoo [1] is a Linux distribution that installs software from sources. The package manager is called Portage and packages are called Ebuilds. Ebuilds are recipes to configure, build, test and install the libraries and applications step by step.
Two months ago, I wrote an Ebuild to install the ROHC library on the Gentoo Linux distribution. Yesterday I updated the package for the last 1.3.1 release. The Ebuild is available for download in the Gentoo bugtracker [2]. The ROHC Ebuild is not part of the official Gentoo tree yet. Its usage is not strait forward, so I wrote a FAQ entry to explain how to use the Ebuild [3]. I'm interested in any feedback on the Ebuild. I'm also interested in packages for other Linux distributions (Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora...). If you got the skills and/or the motivation, please contact me on this mailing list.
