The rohctunnel app is deprecated. I used it for testing in the early days of the library. It was never intended for performances. The IP/ROHC tunnel application replaces it. Give it a try: https://rohc-lib.org/wiki/doku.php?id=summary#ip_rohc_tunnel Also prefer using the ROHC library 1.7.0 over the 1.6.x versions.
