*Anonyme Zeichner N° 8
Idee / Aufruf zur Teilnahme
*Im Oktober 2006 eröffnete der temporäre Projektraum blütenweiss
<http://www.bluetenweiss-berlin.de/> mit der von der Berliner Künstlerin Anke Becker
<http://www.anke-becker.de/> konzipierten und durchgeführten Kunstaktion Anonyme Zeichner.
Am 5. und 6. April 2008 wird Anonyme Zeichner aufgrund der stetig zunehmenden Anzahl an
internationalen Teilnehmern und insgesamt positiver Resonanz bereits zum achten Mal stattfinden.
Da blütenweiss und Anonyme Zeichner seit Mai 2007 ein nomadisches Projekt ohne feste
Ausstellungsräume ist, wird *Anonyme Zeichner N°8* dieses Mal in den Ausstellungsräumen von
meinblau e.V. <http://www.meinblau.de/>, Christinenstraße 18-19, 10119 Berlin zu Gast sein.
*Konzept*
Einen Abend und zwei Tage lang werden ca. *300 Zeichnungen* gezeigt, deren Autoren anonym bleiben. Vor der eigentlichen Ausstellung wird ein *internationaler Aufruf zur Teilnahme* im Internet geschaltet. Aus allen Einsendungen werden ca. 300 Arbeiten ausgewählt, alle ausgestellten Zeichnungen können zu einem *symbolischen Einheitspreis von 150 Euro* während der Ausstellung erworben werden. Die Arbeiten werden dem Käufer direkt vor Ort ausgehändigt und der Name des Künstlers wird im Gegenzug an der entstehenden Leerstelle an der Wand angebracht.
Da die Arbeiten sowohl von etablierten Künstlern als auch von Laien stammen,
wird vom Betrachter verlangt, die Grenze zwischen Kunst und Nichtkunst selbst
zu ziehen. Gängige, kunstmarkttypische Mechanismen wie zum Beispiel die
Wichtigkeit des Künstleregos, Preisbildung, sowie vorgefertigte, einem
bestimmten Kunstkontext zugeordnete Qualitätsurteile sollen im Rahmen der
Aktion auf experimentelle Art und Weise auf den Kopf gestellt werden: Die
Künstler lassen sich darauf ein, ihre Person zugunsten des eigentlichen
Produktes, Ihrer künstlerischen Arbeit, in den Hintergrund zu stellen.
*Teilnahmebedingungen*
Bitte senden Sie:
- 1-3 Originalzeichnungen auf Papier bis maximal DIN A3, Name und Signatur
rückseitig (Bitte keine Drucke, Passepartouts, Rahmen, Objekte oder Rollen!)
- Namen, Adresse und E-Mail auf einem separaten Blatt
- einen ausreichend frankierten, adressierten Rückumschlag
- Gilt nur für Teilnehmer aus dem Ausland: Bitte 8 Euro für die Rücksendung via

falls keine deutschen Briefmarken zur Hand.

Wichtig: Ohne ausreichend frankiertem Rückumschlag können die Arbeiten nicht
zurückgesandt werden. Persönliches Abgeben und Abholen der Einsendungen ist aus

Die Eingangsbestätigung und die Benachrichtigung über das Ergebnis der Auswahl erfolgt per Email bis spätestens zum 27. März 2008.
blütenweiss behält sich eine Auswahl der eingegangenen Arbeiten vor, bemüht
sich allerdings um formale als auch inhaltliche Vielfalt.
Im Falle eines Verkaufs wird *der Künstler* umgehend informiert und *erhält 100
Euro des Gesamtverkaufspreises*. Die restlichen 50 Euro gehen an blütenweiss
und werden für die Realisierung weiterer Anonymer Ausstellungen und Projekte
verwendet.
Nicht verkaufte Arbeiten werden, um für kommende Präsentationen mit verfügbar
zu sein, von blütenweiss archiviert und bis spätestens Dezember 2008 an die
Absender zurückgeschickt. Auch hierbei behält blütenweiss sich eine Auswahl
vor. Nicht zu archivierende Arbeiten werden ca. 2 Wochen nach dem
entsprechenden Ausstellungslauf zurückgesandt.
blütenweiss behandelt die eingereichten Materialien mit größter Sorgfalt. Eine
Haftung kann aber nicht übernommen werden.
Zur Ausstellung wird eine *60seitige Publikation mit ausgewählten, anonym und
schwarz-weiß abgebildeten Arbeiten in limitierter Auflage* erscheinen. Die
Publikation ist zum Preis von 10 Euro während der Ausstellung und später online
bei blütenweiss erhältlich. Die für die Broschüre ausgewählten Künstler werden
darüber vor der Eröffnung per E-Mail benachrichtigt.

- Idea / Call for Entries*
blütenweiss <Anonymohttp://www.bluetenweiss-berlin.de/> - a temporary project space -
opened in October 2006 with the one evening show titled Anonymous Drawings. The Anonymous
Drawings project was set off by the Berlin based artist Anke Becker
<http://www.anke-becker.de/> for blütenweiss. Due to the huge amount of international
submissions and the positive public response, already the eighth edition of Anonymous Drawings
will take place at *April 5/6 2008*. Since blütenweiss by now is a nomad-art-project without an
own, permanent exhibition space, *Anonymous Drawings N° 8* will be host at the venues of meinblau
e.V. <http://www.meinblau.de/>, Christinenstraße 18-19, Berlin, Germany.
*Concept and Idea of Anonymous Drawings*
A selection of round *300 Drawings by international artists* will be presented
anonymously on the scheduled evening: Every Anonymous Drawings show is preceded
by an *international open call for entries* on the Internet. There are no
specifications regarding the content of the works. The artist's anonymity can
be lifted by means of purchasing a drawing for the *symbolic unit salesprice of
150 EUR*. The buyer can take his drawing right off the wall and he is being
told the name of its author. The empty space the drawing leaves behind will be
marked with the artist's full name.
The predefined unit salesprice of 150 EUR is not to be understood as a real
market price but rather as a placeholder-fee for any possible amount of money.
The exhibited drawings will be work of both established and lay-artists. Due to
this fact blütenweiss asks the viewer him/herself to draw the line between Art
and Non-Art. The participating artists agree to withdraw themselves and their
usual pricing in favor of the subject: the drawing itself. Typical mechanisms
of the art-market, like pricing, the artist's own ego, and predefined concepts
of quality are turned upside down and questioned in an experimental way. A
priori for the evaluation of the work is not the name and the biography of the
individual artist, but the work actually shown.
*Participation for Anonymous Drawings N°8*
Please send in the following:
- 1-3 original drawings on paper, maximum size DIN A3 (11"x 17" inches),
Signature and Name at the back of the drawing (no prints, mats, frames, objects, please!)
- On a separate sheet the name, address and email address of the artist
- please transfer 8 Euro for the return postage at the blütenweiss-paypal <http://www.paypal.com>-account: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
In case you are Germany-based you could add German stamps instead. Enclose a self-addressed envelope.

Notice: Works cannot be returned without the payment for the postage! A
personal deliver or pick up of submissions is not possible due to
organizational reasons. bluetenweiss does not accept submissions that are
subject to customer's taxes (it is therefore advisable to indicate a low value
on your package). Please note that applications are not insured.

A confirmation of receipt and the result of the selection will be sent out via email at the latest until March 27, 2008.
bluetenweiss reserves the right to choose which works will be exhibited; our
priorities, however, are formal and content variety.
*The artists receive 100 EUR of the sales price*. The other 50 EUR will be used
by blütenweiss for the realization of further Anonymous shows and projects.
In case of a sale the artist will be informed via email directly after the
show. Some of the works will be archived by bluetenweiss for future exhibits.
Such works will be returned to the artist at the latest in December 2008. The
works that will not be archived will be returned about 2 weeks after the
exhibition.
The participant releases blütenweiss from all liability for damage to submitted
works (including theft and fire) incurred during transport, while held at the
exhibitions or while being returned.
*bluetenweiss will publish a brochure in limited edition (black/white - 60
pages)*, showing a selection of anonymous works, for each Anonymous Drawings
exhibit wich is available for 10 Euro at the opening and online via
bluetenweiss. The artists selected for the publication will be informed in time
before the opening.
