Das Künstlerpaar Sabine Schäfer und Joachim Krebs arbeitet seit 1998 an gemeinsamen Projekten auf dem Gebiet der Raumklangkunst. Sie platzieren die Zuhörer in einem mikrokopisch definierten und konstruierten Klangraum. Die präsentierten Stücke gehören zu einer Reihe von konzertanten und begehbaren RaumklangKörpern. Sukandar Kartadinatas audiovisuelles Werk reicht von der Zersplitterung zweier mittels Ego-Shooter-Software kommunizierender Computersysteme, bis hin zu Musik, die nur auf einem E-Bass gespielt wird. Grundlage von Die By The Sword ist ein Computerspiel, wobei die Musik quasi als Abfallprodukt während des Spielverlaufs entsteht. Phill Niblock gehört zu den prominentesten Vertretern der Minimal Music. In seinen mit Filmen kombinierten Kompositionen konfrontiert er die Hörer mit der physischen Realität des Konzertraums. Ohne Harmonie, Melodie oder Rhythmus und entgegen den Gesetzen der Montage erzeugt mit jeder Aufführung eine neue und einzigartige akustische Situation.
