It can be played without being touched. The sound is very special with a typical "etherical soprano pending voice" timbre. During the 4-5 hour workshop you can build a high quality analogue pitch controlled Theremin from a handful of electronic parts. Price is around 15,00 euro with transformer / power supply (but without case). Electronic know-how is not required !
