Forscherinnen aus den Disziplinen Medienwissenschaft, Kunstgeschichte,
Geschichtswissenschaft, Europäische Ethnologie, Film- und
Theaterwissenschaft, Sozialwissenschaft stellen ihre aktuellen
Forschungen zur Bild-Praxis von Laien, Amateuren, Dilettanten in
historischen wie gegenwärtigen Zusammenhängen vor.

The conference sets out to explore and discuss the visual culture of
amateurs in the 20th and 21st century within the scope of
interdisciplinary approaches. Researchers from the fields of Media
Studies, Art History, Cultural Anthropology, Film & Theatre Studies
and the Social Sciences will present their current projects focusing
on photographers, filmmakers and prosumers.
