A (more-or-less) weekly series of constructivist workshops emphasising making and connection within the field of the existent.
Calendar: July 12th 2PM: EVP/ITC and many worlds [part two] Forthcoming matter: Kirlian photography, data forensics, scrying boards, KiCad PCB design, analogue video synthesis ... contact if you're interested in leading a related workshop. //<----------------------------------------------- July 12th 2PM: EVP/ITC and many worlds [part two] Electronic voice phenomena (EVP) and Instrumental transcommunication (ITC) refer to techniques concerned with the breakthrough (after Konstantin Raudive) of many/other worlds. The first EVP/ITC and many worlds workshop explored related techniques which elaborate questions of noise, transmission and reception aside from both intentionality and concealment. A clear line can be traced from the endophysical work of Hugh Everett III (many worlds interpretation of quantum physics) to ITC technique (the haunted interface). This second workshop will examine recordings made in the last workshop, techniques for photographic and image-based ITC, and audio granulation/cutup using custom hardware and software. references: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronic_voice_phenomena http://www.worlditc.org/c_04_s_bridge_23.htm http://www.1010.co.uk/evp.html fee: free contact: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (places are very limited) ---_______ Background: Workshops led by field-expert practitioners extend over realms of code and embedded code, environmental code, noise, transmission and reception, and electromysticism.
