Thanks. That will probably work for our particular situation. I'll try
out Pete's suggestion tomorrow.

Hmm.
There is this known bug in Firefox about Content-Type interpretation,
and I'm not sure the .xml will help at all.

Something along the lines described there might work as a workaround.
You could try experimenting by modifying rss.vm; I'm not sure how this
will affect the other Firefox RSS features.
Personally, I use Firefox a lot and have not even noticed these issues
because autodiscovery + the Firefox "Live" bookmark feature do work
and they're a much nicer way to read feeds in Firefox.

Go to JRoller. Click on the RSS badge. For a temporary solution
(while I'm
doing this upgrade), URL rewrite will probably do. I need to add
some other
stuff to URLRewrite anyway.

Can you provide the steps to reproduce this behavior?
You could use the UrlRewriteFilter to add .xml.

Hi guys. I'm noticing a minor issue with Firefox and the way that
Roller
maps the RSS feeds. Currently, there are no extensions on the RSS
servlet
mappings, so firefox tries to open a file open dialog. This doesn't
seem
right to me. Is there any way to map it to .xml something?
Thanks,
