RSS is a format specification. RSS feeds support reading, not posting or administration..
Roller currently supports Blogger and MetaWeblog APIs for posting to existing weblogs. Support for Atom Publishing Protocol is on the way, and coming soon I think. (Dave?)
There isn't an administrative API to Roller. The use of the still incomplete Atom Admin has been suggested.
I don't know of any blog servers that support management APIs, but there may be some. Several support publishing APIs.
