i thought the rte editor looked the best of all the javascript based editors, 
but i don't actually use it myself.  i just use the text editor and the convert 
line breaks plugin, then i add in some anchor and img tags as needed.  nothing 
fancy for me.

i agree that would be nicer, but right now we don't have a great way to do that 
and i'm not really motivated to figure it out.  i don't think the comma 
separated list is all that bad, especially once we trim it down to 2 or 3 
editors.

i just put "rtd/dhtml" to mean some consolidated version of a javascript based 
editor.  they definitely aren't the same and i agree, requiring IE is BS.
