See Step 3.3. Make sure you have the mail.jar and activation.jar only in
the common/lib directory and not in the roller web-inf/lib directory after
this step. In Step 5 uncomment the sections for the mail/Session resource.
Restart. This gives you the functionality.
The options are controlled in the administration UI and preferences.
