First, what version of the software did you install? From what
distribution?
Is this an upgrade from a prior installation or a new installation?
What servlet container/application server are you using?
What database are you using?
Can you please examine the roller log file for any errors, and include
them in the message.
Some initial suggestions:
(1) Check your Realm setup in the context.xml and check the error log
for any errors involving this.
(2) If this is an upgrade installation, check that the setting of
passwds.encryption.enabled in roller.properties matches what you were
running with previously.
