Upon further reflection, it may also be that I explicitly defined the uploads
and search-index directories this time. I don't think I did that on my last
attempt. Since tomcat on my FC4 box runs as user tomcat4 set to /nologon,
maybe the fact that there was no home directory to populate was throwing it
off.
