So, the same question for you: which version of Hibernate are you using?
Did you download it from hibernate.org or from the Roller Support project?

I am running against OracleXE 10.2.0.1.0, using the latest oracle JDBC
drivers.
The tomcat version is 5.5.16.
The hibernate jars were downloaded from the roller support site today.
I did have a working version of 2.1 and I tried an upgrade, which didn't
work. I then started again from scratch, dropping the database and doing
a full fresh install.
