I'm also very interested in this feature.

It's working for Wordpress, it might be a good idea to implement it into
Roller.

Allowing registration to post comment might also be a good way to avoid spam
comments, and make sure of the identity of a poster,

I am interested too. comments moderation is good but not sufficient.
But I didn't found anything not even in next releases proposals (
