Are you dead set on putting it into the players pfile? To me, this takes
away from good RP. It removes home invasions!

The way we do it is this:
We've created a single area of a 100 vnums or so.
A player decides they want to buy a house, and we make it in this vnum
range.
They can also make the door locked and get a key.

This allows the rooms intact, invasions, but a semi-safe place for them.
