Right.. since strings are allocated memory, you should use KEYS whenever
copying over one.  This will free the old string before it assigns the
new one.
As for the second question, perms will never go down..Thus the name
perms :)
Memory in ROM is recycled to help speed up the allocation of blocks and
even moreso to avoid fragmented memory.. When "freed", like happens with
purge, the blocks will go into a pool to await re-use.
If you purge a mob then load another, it will hopefully reuse the same
perms for the second mob, assuming no areas reset or anything in the
mean time.
