GDB is used to tell why the core dumped, AFTER the mud crashed, NOT to run the
mud, first off.

ANYONE can run their mud on a unix/linux box. The question is are you willing
to learn it? Most aren't willing to do that.
Running Rom under windows is rather questionable, unless you're experienced in
technical matters, and from the constant emails from yourself in the past day
or so I'd say you're not.. So, go find a linux server cheap, find some linux
documentations and you're set.. It really is easier to do that way anyways.

Again, GDB only has ONE purpose.. To detect WHY the mud crashed, that's all..
GDB simply pours through core dumps to find out why the mud crashed. Nothing
else.

My advice:

Give up trying to get rom running under Win (even Cygwin is still a windows
environment).
Learn what you're talking about, before asking the list stuff (repeated emails
to the list will simply make yourself look worse)
Learn to handle your own technical problems, and learn to code yourself.

The list is here to help people, yes. However, it's not here to do the work for
you.
