yes, it is VERY possible to use Olc2 and colour. There's going to be a
few places in comm.c you'll have to edit by hand, you'll HAVE to pay
close attention to the rejected files, and it's a PITA to get to work
right, but, hey, good luck.
It took me a couple hours fixing all the rejected files myself, but
it's worth it in the long run. Of course, if you don't want to do the
work, like others have said, just download quickmud.
Any hints for me (and all those who use quickmud and want a new olc) on
what exactly to look for in comm.c? I did pay close attention to the
rejected files, patched everything that was rejected in the correct way
that it should be done (pretty sure correct).. There were only I think 4
rejected files.. act_comm.c, interp.c, merc.h, comm.c. I patched those from
the rejects from (what i thought) was the correct way.. and from my
overview of everything else, I'm stumped on why it isn't working right now.
I could always spend the next couple weeks pouring over everything related
to the color, even go through the patch and find out what its patching..
change things so it might work.. but if you could offer some hints (or
someone else), I'd be grateful
