Buffer Overflows

Greetings to all of you on the list,

Quick question for the memory gurus....
What is the quickest (best?) way to solve this problem?

[*****] BUG: buffer overflow past size 16384

Increasing the MAX_BUF to 32768 and the MAX_BUF_LIST to 11 and adding 32768 
to the end
of the buf_size seems to lag down the server.  Any assistance is 
appreciated...and much thanks
to Jason Gauthier for all the other help he has given me.
