Excuse my ignorance on the topic, but isn't the whole thing
about boolean types kind of redundant? I find it easier to
test something like:
if (foo)
..or..
if (!blah)
..instead of the whole == TRUE/FALSE or whatever. I do
understand that it's a lot nicer on the eyes to read it
written out in true/false terms, and I guess it's easier
to make sense of if you're not completely sure about the
logic (or if you're up too late without enough caffeine)
but does it really make much of a difference as far as the
actual compiler's concerned?
I have a grudge against BASIC and its silly truth-based
'logic'. *mutters*
