I've been doing some more experimentation. Actually, NO addapply'd affects are saved to the pfile; it doesn't matter if they exist on the object already or not. Eek x 2! I'm leaning more toward addapply not adding affects to objects correctly, but I am not sure. To make sure fwrite_obj saved enchanted weapons correctly, I cast 'enchant weapon' on the mace, and this is the result: Affc 'enchant weapon' 0 157 -1 2 18 0 Affc 'enchant weapon' 0 157 -1 3 19 0 so THAT's good, at least.
Maybe addapply forgets to do the affect_join thingy? I'll poke around. :) Thanks again in advance if you reply--any help would be appreciated. If you need more information, I would be more than happy to oblige. -- Jeremy Hill
