One thing you have going for you is that the MUDs with major area file
changes will most likely have a coder on staff who can figure out how to
create a template for their area files that will allow your CGI to save the
information as one of their areas. I think you can make it romesque-centric
without too much trouble.
Some sort of context-free template rule would seem best... though I don't
know how you'll make up for all of the options in different MUDs without
overloading the template designer with options.
Maybe you have better ideas than me.
