I doubt the error lies in a system-included header file.  That just seems
off to me.  A possibility is you're trying to sort something from a file
that doesn't exist, as pretty straightforward.  Or, possibly, data is being
culled from a non-existant source. (I've never used/looked at/seen how qsort
works, sorry.  Just offering a conjecture).
