I just downloaded the ROM2.4b6 software and the CYGWIN software as well. I
would like to be able to open the ROM package on my computer, and also
connect to it with telnet from my computer.
I don't want to bring the MUD I have in mind online, I just want to play
around with it myself, it will probably be a while, as in years, before I
bring it online. Could someone please tell me if what I want to do is
possible? If it is, would you also please tell me how to do it, I will need
step by step instructions, exactly what to type, click, etc.

ps I am using windows 98 on my c omputer as the opperating system, I can't
change it, it is the only option I have other than windows 95
